Nutrition and Rodeo As much fun as rodeo events can be, they are also dangerous and physically demanding. The traveling schedule can be grueling on the sleep cycle and overall recovery. Fuel, Entry Fees, Feed, etc; don't skimp on your health if you want to win! An organized nutritional wellness plan may not only help with a rodeo-athlete's performance in the arena but also with simply keeping up! It is difficult to perform in a sport as demanding as rodeo when you're tired and run-down because athletes are consistently confronted with the threat of serious injury and the need to recover quickly. Competitions in rodeos are fairly short compared to other sports but still demand repeated bursts of explosive power, strength, balance and coordination.
